We are NEON Thinking. Our contact and other details are set out at the end of this policy. We are the processor in relation to the personal data processed in accordance with this policy (except where this policy explains otherwise).
We may process personal data relating to you as you are a participant in our research. Specifically, we may collect any of the following personal information from you:
We require this information to understand whether you fit the specification for our research project and to assist with understanding your responses, analysing the outputs from our project and writing the final report for our client.
Transcripts or samples of your answers may be used to update the client/s or persons working on this project with the client, but these will be kept anonymous using aggregated non-identifiable attribution.
Photos and/or audio/video material could potentially be incorporated into presentations and seminars etc., aimed at ‘bringing to life’ certain points and topics (for example, research reports, conferences for sales meetings) internally at client organisations. The recordings / images would never be broadcast or put in the public domain or used for other purposes not stated here.
We keep your contact details securely on record to show your participation and in the event we need to contact you. Your contact details will not be shared or used for other purposes without your permission. Just to reassure you, we carry out market research in line with relevant research regulations and data protection legislation.
We may disclose your personal data to third parties if we are under a duty to disclose or share your personal data in order to comply with any legal obligation, or in order to enforce or apply our terms of supply and other agreements with you; or to protect the rights, property, or safety of our business, our customers, or others. This includes exchanging information with other companies and organisations for the purposes of fraud protection and credit risk reduction.
Either by consent – where it is required to have this, we will obtain and rely on your consent in relation to the processing concerned (in relation to any processing we are carrying out with your consent, see below for how to withdraw your consent).
Otherwise:
We process personal data only for so long as is necessary for the purpose(s) for which it was originally collected, after which it will be deleted or archived unless we need to process it for the purpose of compliance with legal obligations to which we are subject or for another legitimate and lawful purpose. All data is de facto archived after 12 months.
We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online. All data is stored using G-Drive, with limited user access.
If you are ever worried, want to withdraw your consent, or have a question about something related to this, please do contact us via fieldwork@neon-thinking.com.
